This will be the third banana I've eaten in my life. Not a fussy eater; whether it's the flavour, the texture, or a repressed Freudian phallus response, I’m not sure. Maybe it's because I've witnessed first hand the chaos and humiliation which ensues when their outer layers are disposed of carelessly;  Knees skinned. Noses bloodied. Lives ruined.
