The latest in the Operation Raise The Colours soap opera.

Tommy Two-names acolyte Daniel Thomas (Danny Tommo) has publicly commented on the end of his bromance with the activist, sex doll rental pioneer, and co-founder of the OTRC "unity"  group Ryan Bridge, following a travel ban issued by the French Interior Ministry.


Tommo, who described Bridge's post-break up comments as "sinister" announced the next stage of his campaign to save Britain: invading Dover on January 24th with his hastily assembled crew of football enthusiasts.

c̶a̶s̶h̶ ̶c̶o̶w̶ campaign saw the dastardly duo taking selfies, dressed in matching Barbour (cute!) with damaged dinghies on French beaches, using some of the £100k (before tax) provided by supporters.

The travel ban adds another country in which Bridge won't be able to holibob this year: The Spanish authorities have a few questions to ask regarding his involvement in a multi -million pound holiday insurance scheme.

I can't help but think: if one is being described as sinister by someone like Danny Tommo (who has served time for his role in a bungled knifepoint kidnap attempt, in which they unsuccessfully kidnapped the wrong man), one has made some questionable life choices.

Oh, and back in the summer, when I said these "emblems of our national identity" would soon become tattered, rain-sodden rags, and was assured they would be replaced before that came to pass?

Camp Hill Line Station Update

I attended the Railway Stations Update meeting last Wednesday, and have summarised the content, with help from the Kings Heath Neighbourhood Forum. Opening timeline The new stations on the Camp Hill Line are expected to open to passengers in 2026.  No exact date has been fixed yet. Uncharacteristically personal post. Delete if not allowed.

Definitely not a cry for help (I'm FINE), and not attention-seeking (well, no more than usual, any road) and I think I'm writing it to keep a record of it, and offload it: Better out than in (as my dear, sweet, grandmother would say). I've always loved an off-season seaside resort. I enjoy the melancholy vibe. I particularly love this stretch of Welsh *checks* Cambrian coast; the location of many happy family holidays with my parents, brother, aunt, uncle, cousins, and Grandad Evans, who I adored: Funny, mild-mannered, generous: a true role model. He died when I was 12; the first human death I experienced. Herbert Life: Manzoni's Plan for Britain's Motor City.

Herbert Manzoni isn’t exactly a household name—unless your nan's house was knocked down to make way for a ring road.
